Meeting: Friends of Fitzrovia Parks, 6.30pm Thursday 5 April 2018

Public park after snowfall.

Whitfield Gardens after overnight snowfall on 28 February 2018.

There will be a meeting of the Friends of Fitzrovia Parks at 6.30pm Thursday 5 April at Fitzrovia Neighbourhood Centre, 39 Tottenham Street, London W1T 4RX.

We will be discussing Whitfield Gardens and Crabtree fields. We’ll also have an update on the planned new park at Alfred Place. If you are not able to attend the meeting but have any views on either Whitfield Gardens, Crabtree Fields, or Alfred Place, and want them raised, please get in touch via our contact page.

Planting: Following up from our winter planting, we have been successful with an application for native wildflower seeds which Camden parks are encouraging Friends’ groups to get involved with. We’ll be holding a planting morning at 10.00am Saturday 7 April at Fitzrovia Neighbourhood Centre, 39 Tottenham Street to prepare the seeds, and then we will plant them from 10.30am at Whitfield Gardens (it won’t take more than 20 minutes). Please bring gloves and sturdy shoes or boots if you want to get involved.
