The children’s playground at Crabtree Fields will be closed until further notice due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Camden Council has taken the decision to close children’s playgrounds across the borough due to the Covid-19 pandemic. From today the playground in Crabtree Fields is closed but the park will otherwise be open at the usual times.

“During these times, the Council wants to ensure the safety of our residents, staff and our partners as much as possible,” says Camden Parks.

“To do this the Council has taken the decision to lock park playgrounds, sport equipment and other similar facilities to help prevent the spread of the virus and to help ensure social distancing advice is followed,” says Camden

“We know parks are vital for exercise and fresh air as our mental wellbeing. We currently have no intention of closing our parks, but we will continually review this as circumstances develop. We are urging everyone who needs to go out, to keep a safe 2 metre distance from other people — particularly in our parks,” say Camden.

Please help keep the park clean by using the litter bins or take your rubbish home, and also remember to clean up after your dog.
